This comet is called Lemmon because the Observatory on top of Mount Lemmon located in Tucson Arizona, was the first to observe it. The tail is orange for the same reason sunsets are orange and red, as this comet was close to horizon when I photographed it. The reason the stars are streaked is I had my telescope hold steady on the comet which was moving against the stars. This photo is stacked by 158 frames of 8 seconds each.
This is an incredible photographic piece! Just wow!
