Escalante Petrified Forest Utah State Park

 

Capital Reef National Park & Utah Wildfire Smoke

As you can in the first photo the lighting of the Capital Reef National Park was eerily smokey orange/brown/yellow. Every photo taken was color cast with the smoke affecting the white balance dramatically. None the less it was also a very special time to be in the park. Capital Reef was another shockingly unique geologically. The variety was incredible.
